This set of positive-rake 0.060" inserts has been added to all OCL400 lathes. These smaller nose radius inserts are to be used when poor surface finishes are encountered when machining rotors made of questionable materials or when encountering rust or "heat checked" surfaces. Both the Micro-Round and the 3-Sided Insert Kits will continue to be standard on all OCL400 lathes because each insert design has its own unique features and advantages.
